Rematerialise.org will be conducting a seminar on the Environmental Protection Act, a move being hotly debated in the Senate, as people in favor and people against it are far apart to an agreement. In an effort to educate and inform the public on the real issues regarding the EPA, Rematerialise will hold this seminar to raise awareness of the people. This move will hopefully clear the air and answer any questions people may have on this issue.
The seminar will be held on the 29th of April at the Pavilion Plaza Auditorium Plenary Hall. The morning session will begin at 9 o’clock in the morning while the afternoon session will start at 2pm. We have invited some special guest speakers to enlighten us with their take on the burning issues that is brewing up in society.
Tom Floyd, the Director General of Environment International, a non-governmental organization will speak about the facts on climate change, which is a direct effect of the environmental movement. After his talk, there will be a Question and Answer part of the program where people from the audience can ask questions to the speaker.
Other speakers will follow Floyd at the podium and a public forum will cap the event. Here, the public may come up with suggestions on how to alleviate the effects of climate change within their respective communities. This town hall type of meeting will give even those at the bottom of the ladder a voice on the issues at hand. This is a great opportunity for our voices to be heard. Let’s make it count.
